Hello all,

We are wrapping up a first, wonderful day on the trip! After arriving on Fiji’s garden island of Taveuni, we visited the site where the 180th meridian runs through, and enjoyed the Waitlava Rock Slides–natural waterslides that run through the forest.

After a program orientation, we are sitting down to our first group dinner together. Here is a photo from our day!

Here is the group at the 180th meridian. It only runs through far-Eastern Russia, Fiji, and Antarctica!
